Giardi: Kirk Cousins domino has AFC East twist

With Kirk Cousins set to sign with the Vikings, it appears the Jets' plan to hurl buckets of cash at the former Washington QB won't come to fruition. That led Mike Giardi to an interesting point.

Indeed, the three non-New England teams in the AFC East hold top-12 picks with apparent needs at quarterback. The Jets hold the sixth pick, the Dolphins pick 11th and the Bills, fresh off Monday's trade with the Bengals, hold picks Nos. 12 and 22 in the first round.

Realistically, the Bills could make an easy move up into the top five by packaging their first-rounders, a move that would be understandable given that they traded Tyrod Taylor to Cleveland and Nathan Peterman is far from a sure thing. The Dolphins will need to decide whether Ryan Tannehill's lost 2017 season should leave them searching for his successor.
